Dr. Gierie has been designated an Invisalign Premier Provider Elite by Align Technologies, the parent company behind Invisalign.  Premier Provider Elite doctors are a select group of doctors who have achieved an extraordinary level of experience with Invisalign treatment based on the number of patients treated.  Less than 1% of all Invisalign Providers reach the status of Premier Provider Elite. 

What is Invisalign®?

  • Invisalign® is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces.
  • Invisalign® uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets.
  • Invisalign® has been proven effective in clinical research and in orthodontic practices nationwide.  Many orthodontists are certified to treat patients with Invisalign®, but few treat a large number of patients.  That's why it is important to find an experienced Invisalign orthodontist.

How Does Invisalign® Work?

  • You wear each set of aligners for 2-3 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
  • As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position your orthodontist or dentist has prescribed.
  • You'll visit your orthodontist about once every 8-12 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
  • Total treatment time can range from 6-30 months depending on the severity of the problem. The average number of aligners worn during treatment will vary from case to case.
